The IPAI-MAX is a modified car seat that can be individually adapted to the special needs of your child and equipped accordingly. It pairs a generous, highly configurable seating area with the full postural-support and accessory range of the Hernik IPAI family.

Because transfers are often a particular challenge for parents, an optional newly developed swivel mechanism allows a 90° rotation, making it much easier to place the child in the seat and fasten the harness. Aluminium thoracic supports adjust in width and height without tools – more room in winter and a close, supportive position in summer – and an integrated 5-point harness comes as standard. The usual accessories such as an abduction wedge, footrest, seat-depth extension and support and safety cushions are also available.

The IPAI-MAX has successfully completed extensive crash testing to the R129/03 standard and holds full European approval with an E-number.

The IPAI-MAX is a specialist rehabilitation car seat and should be selected and configured following an individual assessment. The appropriate colour, cushions, positioning supports and accessories will depend on the child's height, weight, physical presentation and postural requirements, as well as the vehicle in which the seat will be installed.
