The Stardust is suitable from birth, accommodating babies from 40 cm when used with the optional newborn insert. This insert supports correct posture, head control and recline during the earliest months, helping to ensure even the smallest passengers are positioned safely and comfortably. As children grow, the seat adjusts with them, allowing rear-facing travel from 40–125 cm (or 61–125 cm without the insert), before transitioning into a high-back booster suitable for children from 105–150 cm. This wide usage range means one seat can be safely used over many years, provided it is fitted and adjusted correctly at each stage.

Extended rear-facing is a key safety feature of the Stardust. Rear-facing travel up to 125 cm (or 21 kg) offers significantly improved protection for a child's head, neck and spine in the event of a collision.

The seat is approved to the latest ECE R129 (i-Size) regulation and incorporates a reinforced shell, enhanced side-impact protection, and an anti-rotation frame to improve stability during everyday driving and sudden braking.

From a practical perspective, the Stardust has been designed to support correct use, which is essential for real-world safety. The 360-degree rotation allows parents and carers to place and secure a child more easily, reducing strain and helping ensure the harness is fastened correctly each time. The headrest and harness adjust together and can be operated with one hand, making it simpler to keep pace with a growing child. Multiple recline positions support comfort for both short journeys and longer trips, whether a child is awake or asleep.

Temperature regulation is also an important consideration, particularly for younger children. The Stardust features a breathable Airflow system and removable, washable fabrics to help maintain comfort throughout the year. The seat's design also allows for generous legroom, supporting children to remain rear-facing for longer without discomfort.
